Patrick Brompton Hall, in the scenic Yorkshire dales, is a perfect place for a weekend yoga retreat. There is accommodation for up to 12 retreat guests in either small cottages beside the main house, or in rooms within the house. There is so much to take in, tasteful decor, varied art, quirky touches here and there.

The yoga studio is light and airy and well equipped. Should the weather be favourable, there are plenty of opportunities to take our yoga outside. There is plenty of lawn space and a walled meditation garden
We will aim for an introductory light session of yoga on Friday before supper. Two sessions of yoga on Saturday. Our final session of yoga will be on Sunday Morning.
I am teaming together with the very talented Karen Chalmers to create a unique and exciting retreat.
Singing and yoga team perfectly together…making you feel better, improving lung function by focusing on breathing, helping you relax and beat stress. Overall they compliment brilliantly to benefit your health and well-being.
Singing is for everyone, whether you consider yourself a singer or not. We all have a voice that can be used to help express yourself, boost your confidence and build a sense of community. Karen will introduce you to easy to learn songs that can be sung from memory. You will sing songs from different cultures as well as a-Capella, rounds and simple harmony. Body percussion will be included to enhance your sense of rhythm. A weekend of Yoga and Singing will have you feeling enlightened, happier and more positive.
During your retreat you may also choose to walk, sunbathe, play croquet on the lawn, play tennis on the outdoor hard court, and enjoy an exploration of the garden and grounds. The indoor pool is a lovely addition to your retreat, or you may feel like a dip in the beck that runs through the grounds. There is also have a fire brazier and a hot tub.
If you wish to explore further afield, you will be spoilt for choice, with walks by rivers, castles and lovely little market towns and villages.
All meals will be served in the lovely dining room. This is a wonderful social space and no doubt we will enjoy lovely food and company. We are aiming for a leisurely mood this weekend so the below is a suggested arrangement of meal times, around which we will slot our yoga and other activities:
